REsearch & Data
Since its inception, the Planetary Health Report Card (PHRC) has generated a wealth of data tracking the integration of planetary health metrics into health professional education worldwide. We believe that transparent data is the foundation of accountability and the catalyst for meaningful curriculum improvement.
This hub serves as the central resource for our ongoing research initiatives, data governance, and collaborative opportunities. Whether you are a student researcher, a faculty member, or an external partner, this page outlines how we manage, share, and utilise the insights gathered from our annual report cards.
Data Use Policy
The Planetary Health Report Card (PHRC) makes its data publicly available to support academic research, institutional improvement, and educational advocacy. Our goal is to provide a transparent, metric-based tool for evaluating planetary health content in professional schools.
Key Guidelines:
Permitted Uses: Data may be used for academic research, peer-reviewed publications, institutional evaluation, educational resource development, and advocacy campaigns.
Attribution: All work utilizing PHRC data must explicitly acknowledge the Planetary Health Report Card as the source. Specific citation formats for individual reports and the international summary are provided in the full policy.
Prohibited Uses: Data cannot be used for commercial purposes without written consent, political campaigning, or in ways that misrepresent the data’s integrity.
Research Permission: While general report card data can be used with proper attribution, specific research using PHRC metrics requires prior permission from the PHRC Board of Directors to avoid duplication of efforts.
We ask all users to share any publications or findings derived from this data with us to help track the PHRC’s impact. Accessing our data implies agreement to these terms.
